Suspected transformer vandal electrocuted in Enugu

A 19-year-old suspected transformer vandal, Nwode Sunday, from Ngwo Camp 2, Coal Camp, Enugu, has been electrocuted to death in Enugu. 

 

He reportedly died while attempting to vandalize electrical cables at an Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) transformer in Coal Camp early on Friday, June 28.

 

Confirming the incident, state police command spokesman Daniel Ndukwe said the suspect's lifeless body was taken to the hospital, where he was declared dead. 

 

The corpse has been deposited in the mortuary for preservation and further investigation.
